Walk to Quinnish

Despite slightly unfavourable weather and covered in ' Avon Skin so Soft' to ward off midges we did a walk to another remote point. it was wild and beautiful but before we left the little cottages dotted along the path , I spotted these flowers with butterflies and bees attracted to it.
Near the headland we fouf this ancient standing stone which has many legends attached to it. From certain angles it is said to look like an old w crone !!!Felt really pleased after we'd completed our walk although it had been hard to ' get going' !!!
