Sunday blues

Who decided that weekends would only last 2 days? What was that decision based on? Why 2 days and not 3? I mean, I understand the need for us to spend more time at work than not, but would an extra day have been such a bad deal?

I'm already looking forward to next weekend, when I get a whole 4 (yep, count 'em) days off. Marvlus.
