Mill Hill, Grendon Underwood

We had an easy morning this morning having got in quite late last night after a very enjoyable evening with T & S at Bierton. I had a few I believe...

So we had a snack lunch then went to see D for a few minutes & then on to see my Mum for a late cooked lunch at Edgcott. Stopped here on the way. It has always been called Mill Hill but I've never known a mill on it - that's not surprising as according to a Google search the first mill was built in 1234 and it remained there until 1735.....I was born not long afterwards. On my last visit there was a slight depression where the mill stood but not a lot else...

We had a lovely dinner and were home again by 2100 after a nice day.
