Rainy Day!

All our plans for a whale watch trip went by the wayside today as the weather was awful when we looked out from the cottage early. so we headed to Tobermory anyway and rebooked for Thursday.
We finally looked round the little museum in Mull which was very interesting but had some harsh accounts of the clearances in the nineteenth century. A lovely local lady was proudly fronting the exhibitions and charming other escapees from the rain with her local knowledge.
This phot is of the river in Dervaig which rose quickly and coupled with the high tide might have proved a problem for travelling back to the cottage. In the event we were fine .
