Bilbao: beach day

Going solo to a beach and writing in the sand is becoming something of a habit. Inspired by a hymn of the same title.

I realised that out of all my 'solo travels', this was the first day I have actually spent exploring alone for most of the day (not counting Burgos)! And actually, I loved it! I usually meet someone at a hostel to explore with, but today the friend I came to Bilbao with went back to Burgos in the morning and I stayed on for another two days. I had a great time! I visited the fine arts museum (always better solo, I think) and went to the beach doing a crazy-happy-skipping-I-don't-care-if-people-think-I'm-nuts-dance along the beach. Here's to more solo travelling adventures!
