'Happy Birthday dear Peter'

It's my second Grandson Peter's Birthday today.... he is TWELVE!
Where have those years gone?
Peter is a really good footballer and is in the local football Academy (Eastleigh). He has many trophies now.....and is so enthusiastic about his sport. Voted 'Managers player of the year ' last season...
He also likes to CLIMB TREES! Happy Birthday to a lovely boy!

Today we went up on the Downs overlooking Eastbourne, settled ourselves down on a blanket with our cameras, ready to take some shots of the Red Arrows and the Lancaster Bombers who were taking part in the Eastbourne Airborne Show. Unfortunately it was really windy! We had a short show by the Red Arrows...but they didn't fly overhead as in other years. Then we heard that the Lancasters had been cancelled. By then the clouds were black and it started to rain. We made our way down to Birling Gap...and had lunch in the National Trust restaurant. A torrential hailstorm followed an hour later! Then the sun came out! What a mixed day.

By the way, my photos of the Red Arrows are pathetic! They were too far away, over the sea.....oh well. Always next year!
