Who lives in a place like this?

We left Paris early this morning. We were massively privileged to be able to use a flat in the heart of Paris at the beginning and end of our holiday.

It was a really big flat. Slightly tatty and very batty, old, high ceilings, a managed courtyard with flowers and benches, secure and ornate. And they had 2 of these glass chandeliers in the 2 main rooms. They're amazing. And having not met the lady of the 'house', it makes me smile at the thought of them being spotted, bought and installed.
