Whales! ( or lack of them !)

After our failed attempt on Tuesday we were really excited to set off on this trip. There were only 12 of us on the boat so lots of room to move about. We spotted white tailed eagles sitting on sea stacks on Mull as we sailed out of the sound headed towards the island of Coll. The trip was 4 hours and despite lots of effort the minke whales were hiding! We did see seals plentifully and they always delight me . It was so relaxing that we stayed on board for the afternoon trip but sadly no whales. We saw one on our first visit to Mull along the shore below our cottage.
