Book Festival

Went to hear Sally Magnusson at the Book Festival this evening. She was speaking about her book 'Where Memories Go', which is about her mother's journey living with dementia. Sally spoke very movingly and encouraged everyone to pass on the book to any Health Care professional who works with people with dementia. She strongly believes and I agree that someone with dementia should have the same rights as everyone else and not treated as second class citizens.

I have read half of the book so far but it was from the library and I had to return it as it had a long list of reservations after me!
