At The Farmers' Market

A visit to deepest Lancashire took me to a Farmers' Market. I was attracted to these exceptionally fresh looking celeriac roots.

They are one of my favourite root vegetables and have a lovely mild celery flavour (even celery haters tend to like the flavour).

Next time you have mash try making it with 50% potatoes and 50% celeriac - delicious!
