Front Garden

After the excavation of 35 tons of crappy clay and rock, then laying in a field drain, and spreading 35 tons of pea gravel & flint stones, building 5 raised beds and filling them with 15 tons of topsoil, I feel that I am almost finished this part of the renovations.
We were very late getting things planted in the raised beds, but with the help of the hot and wet summer, things have bedded in quite well.
Should be better next year, but for now, we are quite happy.
