Totem Blessing Ceremony

This morning Cynthia and I participated in the Blessing Ceremony for the Lummi Nation's 2014 Totem Pole Journey. We met many friends there, and it was a very moving experience.

While I was vacuuming the inside of Cynthia's car, and cleaning the windshield inside and out this afternoon, she was doing her usual exhaustive research about the event for her blip.

My blip photo shows the Rev. Charis Wheathers of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America giving a blessing on behalf of the Interfaith Coalition, after the ceremony inside the Administrative Center. Many people, including Cynthia and me, accepted the invitation to give our personal blessing by touching the totem.
