After planning to say goodbye to family and leave Lake Rotoiti at roughly quarter past ten, our carload of the the Mrs, her cousin's daughters, and myself hit the road back to Palmerston North at quarter past eleven. Typical. We stopped for petrol and food and arrived just before four. After dropping off the girls and meeting their boyfriends, the Mrs and I headed to meet her friend Wilna and her fiancé for a quick coffee before church at Crosspoint Church. The pastor and his family invited us to their place for dinner. It meant a little bit of a later night than planned, especially because we still had to drive to Wellington, but a fun day nonetheless. Now back at home and ready for bed. Ah, nice bed.
Reading Calvin and Hobbs is always a delight; especially for little Miss Hughes.
