MonoMonday - Connections

Anyone who follows either my journal or that of the Rower will realise that we have a great connection with our resident magpie family.

We hand feed them daily, but have recently realised that something unusual is going on. They are ten times hungrier than normal.

We've worked out that they are feeding baby (or babies). There's still not very much in the way of insects for them to forage, and they will come and knock on the window to get our attention.

So what better blip for MonoMonday - Connections than the Rower connecting with Mrs. Magpie, so that she can connect with her offspring!
