Daff time

A bunch of daffodils which was purchased in bud last night opened up overnight. Would the presence of a melon nearby have anything to do with the superfast opening? More to the point, I was in need of something cheerful and colourful. Did not find it outside (spent about 20 minutes photographing wrecked boats), so resorted to inside.
