Born in London but studied art in Edinburgh and Glasgow, Richard Wright is most known for the site-specific paintings he makes on walls, ceilings and floors. This example of his work is on permanent display in the west stairwell of Edinburgh's Modern Two Gallery. It is beautiful and bright....he can come and do my decorating any time!! We actually visited the exhibition of American Impressionists at this gallery today, but no photos allowed!
