Risking the black clouds to gather blackberries

Decided to get some more blackberries even though rain looked to be a possibility. A group of fascinated children were walking by and were intrigued by my actions. I asked them if they had ever tasted blackberries and only one of them knew what they were. What a shame that they have not had the pleasure of picking and eating them, let alone cooked in a pie. I used to take my children, and later the grandchildren with me and so at least they haven't missed out!
