Mono Monday - connection

We are having a day off from walking today, in Sedbergh which describes itself as "England's Town of Books". An ideal place for me as it is full of secondhand bookshops - even the Outdoor Shop and the Tourist Information Centre have about half their space devoted to books.

And it fits in with the Mono Monday theme of "connection" because books let us connect to the thoughts of people from different times and places.
