Hebden Bridge

I caught up with a good friend today and enjoyed a great circular walk with her from Hebden Bridge. I haven't done much walking around there so it was a delight to explore somewhere new and catch up with a walk, a good chat and a coffee.

Rich came home with the Metro paper in his hands exclaiming that we were famous. The bomb on the beach made it into the newspaper. Apparently, a dog walker threw a stone for his pet to fetch on the beach.

Luckily for him, it caught the eye of an off duty explosives expert who identified it as a WWII barnacle covered grenade.

Luckily for me, there is no photo of me on the balcony!
