Cuckoo Pint

Arum maculatum. Bright orange-red spikes of poisonous berries marking out where the Lords and Ladies were flowering earlier in the year.
All still well along the lane. Little new to report but will try to mark the changes into Autumn and finally Winter with occasional blips. Gardening, work and visitors seem to have taken up all of my time recently but the lane is still there and Harry the dog and I really enjoyed pottering down there on our way for a paper this morning.
