Unexpected

I expected the traffic to be bad on the motorway.

I expected that replacing the rear fog lamp reflector casing would be tricky. (It was: to start with, I'd been sold the wrong part and what should have been a fairly simple job was hampered by major accessibility issues.)

I didn't expect the whole job to take over four hours from start to finish.

And I certainly didn't expect the tyre bolts to be this wonderful blue when Dad and I took the tyre off to get to the reflector casing. (Dads are great!)
