It's a Clean Machine!

We popped down to look after Euan & Eve for a while this afternoon as Ali was off working. As it was quite warm we spent most of the time outside. I found Euan in the shed (his garage) polishing his car. Like father, like son!
All too soon, Ali returned and it was back home to my current project. The hospital advises that I should have a "suitable" chair. That is one with a high-ish seat and arms so that I can lever myself upright thus avoiding damaging the new hip joint. We have borrowed such a chair but it needs a little TLC so I am hard at work scraping down the old varnish. The big question is should I just apply a wax finish or go back to a stained and/or varnished finish.
