Lunchtime Honey
I was working today in the Lake District and drove to the local garage at lunchtime to buy some lunch and passed this lovely scene on the way, so on the way back I made a point of finding somewhere to park and boosted down there with my camera to get some quick shots - I only had 5 minutes! No tripod but there was enough light anyway so it didn't matter. I was struck by all the honey kind of colouring that I've been seeing alot of recently. Something to do with the particular colours of the vegetation and light at this time of year I think. It's particularly great at sunrise with a frost. Someday soon, hopefully I'll summon the motivation to get up early and capture this!
I got so many good shots today it was really hard to choose just one for the daily blip. On the way home from work there was a temperature inversion too! I drove up above the clouds and found an absolutely fantastic sunset scene. Got some decent shots of that too, but can't include them here!
Edit: there's a couple more shots from today here. Is this going against the spirit of Blip???
