London’s Poppies
During the day trip to London with Robbie and Cara,Passing the Tower of London. We came across a stunning sight. Today marks 100 years since the first day of Britain’s involvement in World War I. Artist Paul Cummins and designer Tom Piper decided to commemorate this with a visual installation: 888,246 red ceramic poppies, representing the 888,246 casualties of the war, falling out of the Tower of London.
