DAY 8

After a morning poolside...........we got a taxi....our driver was really friendly and told us lots of information on our trip up to Lekftas.....a village in the mountains, stunning views and lots of picturesque alleys and doorways.
It was sooooo hot though....we had to do a couple of cafe stops!!!

The taxi driver returned and took us to Naoussa....the second town on the island....we spent the afternoon....eating, drinking reading and snoozing in cafes (like down and outs again!!). In the evening the restaurants by the harbour are lit by candlelight....just beautiful.

we spent a fortune on taxi fares as the buses come in Greek time and we didn't want to waste a day waiting for them but it was worth it.
