Vibrant Lavender

It was a dreary old day when we woke up this morning so we decided to take ourselves off for a bit of an adventure. When I lived in Sydney I used to regularly drive to Dural on the outskirts of the city to a wonderful plant nursery. Swane's Nursery has a reputation for being one of the best rose nurseries in Sydney.

Now today wasn't the day for rose as they've just had their big prune. However there was a fantastic display of Lavender for sale and I couldn't resist blipping it today.

Another attraction is the cafe located in the grounds and I have to say we did have a delightful lunch before heading back to the mountains via the Bells Line of Road.
