Ditched the rally across the North Sea and had a stunning run to Burnham on Crouch yesterday.
Greg helmed and managed 6.0 knots according to the log on a beam reach that hardened to a beat. Full sails up and a great day.
Today we left Burnham at 0615 and had a run,reach, beat up to Harwich and Ipswich.
A~helmed and managed 6.4 knots at one stage. Was still doing 5.6 plus with a reef in the main and 2ft out of the jenny.
Surprised to find a festival going on at the switch so put the corporate polo shirts on and went partying!
