Pomegranate of love

I planted this little pomegranate tree on the 49th day after the murder of my beloved teacher, Akong Rinpoche. This symbolic tree represents many things but mostly my sense of love and devotion and connection to Rinpoche. I was heart broken a few months ago when the leaves fell off and it looked dead. I was sure this carried some deeper meaning. My gardener reassured me that it was "still alive, but resting. I should wait before pulling it out".
Today I noticed new leaves have started to emerge on this little tree, and felt a surge of joy; like my faith and devotion this little tree lives on. x
