Toad in the Hole

I was clearing a much neglected area at the back of the house today, when up popped this little fella! Well, I say little, but in the world of toads, it was a big one! About 3 inches from nose to tail, as it were, and didn't look very happy about having its hideaway disturbed.
Out from my pocket appeared (as if by magic) a Panasonic Lumic LX7, and it was quickly recorded and his hiding place suitably hidden again
I did check an hour later and it was snuggled back down again.
So, something always turns up, if you're serious about a photo a day!
