Mine Truck.

To-day a group of us from the Welshpool U3A went on an adventure to a lead mine in Snailbeach, South Shropshire. We spent almost a day on and in the lead mine, and there is nothing as sure as life as a miner was grim, very grim. The mine was dark- the only light was from a candle, they used Dynamite and dodgy fuses and the tunnels were very low, wearing hard hats we still continually banged our heads on the roof of the mine. It was a really fantastic day, I'm just so glad that I was born female and 150 years later.
