A big boy did it then ran away

Today the Better Together folk posted a leaflet through my letterbox then ran away.

Seemingly the Gloucestershire born author of the quite fictional Harry Potter stories feels uneasy about whatever Scotland decides on September 18th.

Ms Rowling is of course entitled to an opinion but her comment that we can “curse the result, bide our time and hope to get a better result in four years” is unavoidably linked in my mind with that scoundrel Sir Walter Scott and his tartan tinted view of the place that is Scotland.
