A wintry evening - in August

This is Fraserburgh beach at 7.30 this evening. Heavy rain, and a temperature of 8.5 degrees. The wind was blowing too, with lots of spray. Not what you'd expect in August. I'm glad we made the most of those sunny days a few weeks ago.

It's a 50+ walking day tomorrow. I'm almost scared to look at the forecast, having got soaked on the last one two weeks ago! I don't fancy a repeat. So fingers and everything else crossed for a better day than today.
