Egyptian Cat

We bought this handsome cat in Egypt in 2003. The efforts of teenage seller to assure us that he was selling it at "ASDA price" amused us and we thought why not, it's a bargain after all! That fact that it weighed a ton did not deter us and it travelled home on the aeroplane above our heads. It now sits proudly near our fire place guarding over its companion, a sleeping wooden cat.
