girls' day

Carrie and the girls came for lunch today. We had the meatballs I made yesterday and cake for pud to celebrate Carrie's birthday which was on the 13th of July!

Carrie headed on after lunch and I took the girls down to the river. We had a great time splashing about. This is Elizabeth posing :) Sarah and I made little rock statues. Elizabeth created a spa area and then proceeded to rub my back with rocks(!), all whilst Marie-Claire used different stones as her phone and her ipad and chatted away on these to her friend Emily! So funny :)

We got back and had movie night :) I made toasties for the girls and they then sat down to watch Frozen with sweets and homemade toffee popcorn :)
