reiff and meagaidh

Or Reef and Meg as I thought until I found out from the owner how to spell their names!

These are our friends' dogs and we're looking after them for a few days. Chuck left them over at 2pm and we've got the 'til Friday! So exciting :) Took them a walk down to dad's garden and the river and Meagaidh was running and jumping in the water like a crazy dog! She's a collie so she's super clever and super fast! I think we managed to tire her out and she retreated under dad's courgette plants :)

In other news, there was an accident in Les Pilles today - a woman and her grown-up daughter came through the village and crashed into a parked car at the side of the road opposite the mairie. Pierre and I heard the noise from inside our house and went to see what was going on. The lady's car was on its side, so she must've hit the other car at some speed. We found out afterwards that she thinks she fell asleep at the wheel! Scary stuff. No one was hurt thankfully but it caused a lot of commotion in an otherwise quite sleepy village :)
