Lake Taupo

Today was a driving day so I didn't get much chance to take photos. We drove north from Palmerston North to Taupo. We could have stopped a few more times but the North Island drivers are much more pushy than the South Island ones and there was often somebody driving up my rear, probably because I was keeping to the speed limit. Hey Ho.

Anyway this shot was taken soon after our first sight of Lake Taupo from State Highway 1.
