Kayaking Trip from Lover's Key

Went over to Naples to spend the weekend with Josh and get to do some kayaking on the west coast of Florida. So many neat spots to explore over here!
First we tried to head to Barefoot Beach but the park didn't allow trailers!
This was news to us...so we headed north and launched from Lover's Key instead.

First we headed to a little mangrove island where we founds TONS of baby horseshoe crabs in the shallow water surrounding the island. Then we headed to a sand bar where we spent the remainder of the afternoon.

Found a nine-legged starfish, picked up a bunch of conch shells that should be really pretty once they are cleaned up, and saw a pod of dolphins!

The only thing that got us to move on was a lack of food and the rising tide.
