The Queen?

A strange thing happened today. It shows how little we sometimes know about each other. Lots of people enjoy my journal because they know very little about China. This time the shoe is on the other foot.

I have to teach my students the letters Q, R and S today. My co-teacher Alison followed my class with a review of the same in her hour. The work to match the letter Q is of course Queen and the large card at the school actually uses a picture of Queen Elizabeth. To make things interesting for her class, Alison went online and found some pictures of a "Queen"... To my surprise the pictures she used in her class for a queen were of Camilla Parker Bowles Shand (or something). Princess of a few things according to Wiki It was very strange for me to see them together, specially with CPB being shown as a queen.

Maybe it was just me.. But I thought it was amusing.
