Kotuku

The elegant and endangered white heron. I have always wanted to photograph this elusive bird and today if the wee lack of sharpness due to my excitement can be forgiven, I got it in flight. I also got nearly 300 other photos of it in the hour and a half I sat watching - terrible to have to choose just one. Perhaps I will go back tomorrow.
