Patchwork

I had intended to have a swim this morning, but a friend called wanting to walk on the moor, so I was happy to change my plan, as the sun was out - I prefer being outside and there will be many horrid winter days when swimming will be the better option. I apologise for another heathery blip, but I loved the way the light was on the harvested fields down in the valley, with the blueness of the Border Ridge beyond.

A fellow blipper posted some pigeons a few days ago and I loved their different colours and markings so I had so go at a line of them on their loft, but they looked too confused in a busy background. I'll go another day with my big camera and try again.

Now I'm off to the coast to collect Thomas from nursery - we need a bit of bonding time with that one as he is coming to stay soon and I'm anxious that he won't settle - he is a daddy's boy.
