Stre-e-e-e-tched Cat

I could hardly believe where Simba had chosen to have his nap today! When there is a comfortable fleece bed right next to him, why would he choose to stretch out on a very narrow shelf behind a plank of wood?

He was sound asleep when I first spotted him, so he must have been comfortable, but I woke him when I opened the door to take this photo and he jumped down to join me in the garden.

A lot milder today and dry too. Could summer be returning?
