Textures Tuesday .....

Week 3.

I had another quiet day at home today until later when we attended the Pocono Photo Club monthly meeting. We are not members of this club, but are thinking of possibly joining as they have some great speakers.

Tonight's speaker was Axel Hildebrandt ~ a fabulous bird photographer. After his speech and slide show he opened the floor up for questioning. I just had to ask about photographing hummingbirds as they are on my wish list! His answer helped me in getting tomorrow's (Wednesday's) shot! Thank you, Axel!

Today's August challenge is Texture's Tuesday. I liked the textures of this back lit purple cone flower.
