Stockport Hatting Museum

Hannah and I took a guided tour around the hatting museum at Stockport.

Stockport was a major hatting area ... until hats went out of fashion. It's a really good museum, with displays of modern, vintage, celebrity hat wearers hat's and celebrity hat maker's designs and military hats on display.

If I remember correctly, this machine makes the felt hoods that are eventually shaped into hats.
