Scale of things

The graceful symmetrical curve of the modern apartments and Lowry hotel, on the left, is bisected by the beautiful new statement bridge that crosses the river, on the right, to the city centre. All in all a beautiful setting.

Quite why they then put the benches facing away from all of that and towards a wall I'm not quite sure, it probably looked very 'balanced' on the drawing though. Architect Schmarchitect.
