Breton Cake

Schull market for a picnic then off for a hike on the Old Butter Road that runs between Schull and Ballydehob. It was hot and sunny so a swim was in order to cool down which I certainly did as the water was freezing, how has that happened, it should surely still be getting warmer!
Refreshed I headed off to my work day, where we cleared sharp stones from the newly dug duck pond before putting down a liner and filling it with water, lucky ducks!
Lovely supper followed by this Breton Cake cooked over a fire with some coals placed on the lid to cook the top through, delicious!
