Grey Point Fort

One of the amazing things about Northern Ireland is how close you are to history; everywhere. Ran from Hollywood to Helen's Bay today and passed this old fort, part of the WWII defences for Belfast Lough. Remarkable bit of history not far off the beaten track; in fact beside one of the most desirable residential areas in the province! Haunting; this stuff calls to me like nowhere else.
