Duart Castle

Up early this morning and off to Mull with our walking club. The coach left at 7.30am and we had a snack break at the Green Welly at Tyndrum (terrific rolls and sausage). Then on to Oban and across on the Ferry to Craignure. My picture is taken as we neared Craignure of the castle on its wonderful setting looking out to sea.

The weather has been dry and fine, and I hope it stays that way!

We headed to Fishnish to the start of a walk taking in grassy coastal paths and the pine forest of Cnoc an Teine, heading towards Garmony Point, and finished back at Fishnish.

Then we headed to the Isle of Mull Hotel and after registration and allocation of rooms, had a super six course dinner in the hotel.

And another exciting day tomorrow, I hope......
