Taste Test!
OK I admit it, after yesterday's post I felt I should give the unconventional spring rolls a whirl, aided by Nick, who will eat anything. I couldn't stomach the mac and cheese version so settled on the Philly Cheesesteak Spring Roll instead.
Our initial attempt to bake them at 375f for 12 minutes as per the instructions, left us with pale spring rolls with a defrosted but cold filling. Assuming this isn't how they are meant to be served, I put them back in the oven for another 10 minutes. Bingo!
The verdict? Nick loved them, and much as it pains me to say it, they were rather good. The filling tasted like the inside of an english meat pie!!!
