If you can't beat them...

Well we are supposed to be hosting the biggest Arts Festival in the world this month.
I'd better not start playing my guitar in public - Ha! people would pay me to stop :-)
So last night I managed to shield Barney's ears for the duration of the fireworks - result :-)
Our celebrations were cut short however as just a few minutes later 2 Police helicopters started flying low over the area with their searchlights full beam across the gardens!
Still better than the fireworks though.
Tonight I did the same and he's completely oblivious :-)

Wasn't that shocking news about the journalist James Foley today?
I just cannot comprehend events like this and how his family and friends must be feeling :-(
