Stormy in Christchurch . . . . .

. . . . . and really cold. That southerly wind goes right through you! I was driving out to the airport and just had to stop and grab this scene. It's the northwestern confluence where the Avon River flows into the Estuary. There are lots of black swans out there but they're a fair way away. Maybe you'll see them if you go Large.

I flew up to Auckland this morning - mainly to go to a funeral tomorrow and also to catch up with family.
